Just replace te compressor with a Co2 bottle with regulator I gues?

I'm thinking of building my own hazer that will work with an compressd gas ( CO2 for eg)
But can anybody tell me how the hazer fluid is mixed with the gas/forced to a small opening to defuse it, and how small should this opening be, somehting like 1mm?
